Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has reportedly made his presence felt by axing Nani, Anderson and Wilfred Zaha from the first-team squad.
According to The People, the Dutchman has forced the trio to train at different times to the elite squad and even eat away from senior United players, as well as exclude them from team briefings.
Due to a lack of fit first-team squad members, Van Gaal was forced to call upon Nani from the substitute's bench during United's 2-1 defeat to Swansea City, but he, Anderson and Zaha have been told that they will only be used in emergencies.
Such is the Dutchman's insistence on banishing the players from his squad, it is reported that their names have even been removed from the lockers at the training ground.
Meanwhile, Van Gaal is said to have urged Red Devils executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to seal transfers for both Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo before the end of the summer transfer window.
