West Ham United have reportedly submitted a £50m offer for Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
The 26-year-old has made 15 appearances for the Whites during the 2021-22 campaign but has been on the sidelines since the start of December with a hamstring problem.
A number of clubs, including Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool, are said to be long-term admirers of the England international.
However, according to The Sun, West Ham have now approached Leeds with a £50m offer for the midfielder, with the Hammers keen to pair him with England teammate Declan Rice at London Stadium.
The report claims that David Moyes's side want Phillips to arrive this month but are also prepared to wait until the end of the season to secure his services.
The Englishman, who has two-and-a-half years left to run on his contract at Elland Road, has made 226 appearances for Leeds in all competitions since debuting in 2014. body check tags ::
