Bayern Munich attacker Jamal Musiala has said that he is "open to anything" amid suggestions that he could depart Allianz Arena during next summer's transfer window.
The 21-year-old is currently one of the most in-demand players in world football, boasting a strong record of 46 goals and 34 assists in 170 appearances for Bayern in all competitions.
The Germany international has started the 2024-25 campaign in impressive fashion, managing three goals and three assists in seven appearances in all competitions.
Musiala only has a contract at Allianz Arena until June 2026, and there is currently a host of speculation surrounding his future, with Manchester City thought to lead the race for his services.
Manchester United, Real Madrid and Liverpool have also been linked with the attacker, and he has refused to rule out a move away from Allianz Arena in the near future.
Musiala opens door to potential Bayern exit
"I don't really have a plan or anything. I don't try to think too far ahead about where I want to be, because the situation can change from year to year or month to month. I don't know. I'm open to anything, but I'm very happy where I am now," Musiala told Sky Deutschland.
Bayern, though, will fight hard to keep hold of the forward, with the German club's president Herbert Hainer claiming that Musiala could stay at the club for over two decades.
"I have a lot of respect for Jamal When you see how he has developed, it's incredible. We want to do everything we can to keep him at FC Bayern in the long term, he told Abendzeitung Muenchen:
"In my opinion, he could easily become the next Thomas Muller and play here for the next 20 years. I'm very optimistic."
Bayern facing "difficult" task to sign Musiala to a new deal
Bayern Munich director of sport Max Eberl recently admitted that it will be "difficult" for his team to agree a contract extension with the attacker amid the ongoing speculation.
"It's difficult, but not impossible as Jamal knows what he has at Bayern Munich," he told Sport1.
"He grew up here and has brought himself to this level. Talks are intensifying. We are extremely ambitious and he knows that he wants to win titles."
Musiala represented Southampton and Chelsea during his youth career before moving to Bayern in 2019, and he made his first-team debut for the German giants in 2020.
The attacker is also a vital player for Germany, scoring six times and registering eight assists in 36 appearances for his national side, including three goals at Euro 2024. body check tags ::
