Manchester United are reportedly open to parting ways with Ashley Young during the January transfer window.
While the versatile Englishman is regarded as an important figure in the dressing room, the 34-year-old has just over six months remaining on his contract.
With United unlikely to offer the veteran fresh terms, it was suggested earlier this week that the full-back would leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Young may be allowed to sign for another club at the midway point of the campaign.
Young has still been used on 16 occasions since the middle of August, highlighting that he remains valued by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Nevertheless, should a deal suit all parties, it appears that the long-serving player could make his exit next month.
