Ashley Young has reportedly turned down a one-year contract extension at Manchester United in favour of completing a move to Inter Milan.
The 34-year-old, whose contract expires at the end of this season, is said to be determined to complete a move to San Siro - either this month or in the summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, on the other hand, intends to keep Young, who he values as an important senior member of the United squad.
According to Sky Sports News, Young has rejected the chance to extend his Old Trafford future until 2021.
Inter boss Antonio Conte, who is keen on adding experience over this window, is said to have wanted to sign the Englishman during his time at Chelsea.
Young's decision to leave the club is based on a lack of playing time this season, with Solskjaer preferring the youthful trio of Brandon Williams, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw at full-back.
