Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa has lamented his side's own mistakes after they lost 1-0 to AS Monaco and missed the chance to pull away from current Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Bielsa's men fell foul to a solitary second-half goal from Bernardo Silva at the Stade Louis II, meaning that OM are now just one point ahead of the chasing Parisians.
"We dominated the game by creating five or six opportunities in front of goal. The defensive problems were rare," Bielsa said after the game.
"Dangerous actions of our opponents come from individual errors on our part. From the moment they scored, we could not find a way to get over their defence."
Marseille are also under pressure from a resurgent Lyon side who are just two points behind them in third position.
