Hull City and Queens Park Rangers close in on Marseille midfielder Morgan Amalfitano.

Hull City reportedly face competition from newly-promoted Queens Park Rangers for the services of Marseille midfielder Morgan Amalfitano.

The 29-year-old is out of contract with the French outfit, with both Premier League sides ready to offer him a deal, according to The Mirror.

Amalfitano spent last season in England, on loan at West Bromwich Albion, where he scored four goals in 26 league appearances.

The report also suggests that Marseille have not given up hope of convincing the player to sign a new contract.
