Nicolas Nkoulou has committed his future to Marseille as he looks to rediscover his top form.
The defender, who has been named in Ligue 1's Team of the Season for the past two years, has been linked with a January move to Arsenal and Napoli in recent weeks.
"I won't leave because I'm not happy with what I'm currently showing and I couldn't leave in such circumstances," Nkoulou told reporters. "I owe a lot to this club that allowed me to shine at the top level.
"It's important for me to lift myself back to my best before envisaging any theoretical move.
"A dip in form happens in every player's career. I'm the first person to be disappointed by my performances and the important thing for me is to pick myself up. It's not easy playing so many games as at OM we play every three days. That's not an excuse and I have to do better. I need to ask questions of myself and the winter break comes at just the right time."
Nkoulou joined Marseille from relegated Monaco in 2011.
