Marseille are reportedly close to completing a deal for Argentine defender Milton Casco.
OM were believed to have lodged a €2m (£1.4m) bid for the Newell's Old Boys player last month, although the South American side were rumoured to be asking for Marseille to double their offer.
However, Canal + claims that a deal for the 27-year-old, who can play as a left-back or right-back, is imminent.
Furthermore, TYC Sports reports that Casco was left out of Newell's Old Boys' next fixture as a transfer has been agreed between the two clubs.
Marseille finished fourth in Ligue 1 last season.
