MK Dons have appointed former England Under-16 coach Dan Micciche as their new manager.
The announcement comes two days after Robbie Neilson left the club by mutual consent following their 2-1 defeat to Northampton Town last Saturday.
New boss Michiche, who has previously worked with MK Dons in the club's academy, played a key part in the development of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli, as well as Liverpool midfielder Sheyi Ojo, who is on loan at Fulham.
"This club has done so much for me and we had such good success together during my first spell," Micciche told Sky Sports News. "Milton Keynes is also my home - I'm living in the area and my kids have been brought up here too.
"It's been a whirlwind 24 hours but we've got a lot of work to do now. I understand the position we are in - it is not the position we want to be in - so first and foremost, our priority is to make sure we bring some confidence and belief back to this squad so we can begin climbing that league table.
"As a team, we want to entertain and we want to be an attacking, creative and expressive football team."
Prior to rejoining MK Dons, Micciche had worked with the England Under-16 team, while also undertaking a coach and development technical lead with the FA.
