Dean Bowditch has revealed that he is "over the moon" to have signed a new contract with MK Dons.
It was confirmed earlier this afternoon that the striker had agreed to extend his stay with the Championship club until the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
"I'm absolutely over the moon. As soon as the club said they wanted to offer me a contract, I was really pleased," the 28-year-old told the club's official website.
"It was a bit of an up and down season for me but I thought I finished well and the chance to play in the Championship is very exciting."
Bowditch joined the Dons from Yeovil Town in 2011 and he has gone on to make 152 appearances, from which he has scored 35 goals.
