MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has insisted that his side did not deserve to lose their Championship match against Preston North End.
Paul Gallagher scored the only goal of the game to condemn Robinson's men to defeat in their first home game of the season, but the 34-year-old believes that his side did enough to at least earn a point from the fixture.
He told BBC Sport: "A lot of people say we are going to finish 24th in the league and that will drive us forward every single day of the season.
"We didn't do enough to win - but we certainly didn't deserve to lose. There was really nothing in the game. We were much better in the first half and our patience in keeping in the game was outstanding at times."
MK Dons play Bolton Wanderers in their next outing on Tuesday.
