Montpellier HSC have stretched their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to five points with a 1-0 win over Valenciennes.
A fifth-minute Souleymane Camara goal was enough to seal all three points at the Stade de la Mosson.
The Senegalese striker converted from close range following Younes Belhanda's cross.
Valenciennes rarely threatened the Montpellier goal, and the home side missed a host of chances to extend their lead.
However, despite Montpellier dominance their lead remained at 1-0.
