Montpellier coach Jean Fernandez has revealed that the club are interested in signing Queens Park Rangers striker Djibril Cisse.
The 31-year-old is expected to be among a number of players to leave Loftus Road this summer as QPR prepare for life in the Championship.
"We want to hire a forward because neither Emanuel Herrera nor Gaetan Charbonnier really impressed so far, but there is not only Djibril Cisse," Fernandez told L'Equipe.
"We are looking at the market. We are attracted by several players. There is no emergency so far."
Cisse, who joined QPR from Lazio in January 2012, spent the second half of last season on loan at Qatari side Al-Gharafa.
