Motherwell manager Stuart McCall has reportedly opened talks with Sheffield United.
The 48-year-old recently denied speculation that he was close to joining the League One club, where he served as a player between 2002 and 2005.
However, McCall is understood to be in discussions with the Blades ahead of the new season, according to Sky Sports News.
Sheffield United are looking for a new boss after Danny Wilson's departure from Bramall Lane in April.
