Arjen Robben has warned his Netherlands teammates to be wary of "fearless" Mexico in this evening's World Cup meeting.
Miguel Herrera's side head into the last 16 clash having already been tested by one of the tournament's heavyweights after holding Brazil to a scoreless draw in Group A.
Robben also feels that the weather in Fortaleza could hand Mexico a significant advantage in their bid to beat Louis van Gaal's side to claim a quarter-final spot.
"They are dangerous opponents," he told The Times of India. "Especially when the match is being played in Brazil, a country more familiar to them.
"They are fearless opponents and proved it against Brazil in their group league match."
The encounter kicks off at 5pm.
