Newcastle United duo Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse have been left out of the Senegal squad for the Olympic Games.
The pair, who scored 29 Premier League goals between them last season, were expected to be named in the 18-man party for the tournament.
However, Magpies boss Alan Pardew is believed to have rasied concerns over their fitness with another Africa Cup of Nations taking place in January 2013.
Everton's Magaye Gueye and West Ham United's Mohamed Diame have both been named in the Lions of Teranga squad.
