Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons has claimed that he wants a regular starting spot in the team after getting "little tasters" off the substitutes' bench.
The 19-year-old could play a part in tomorrow night's Capital One Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday at St James' Park.
Steve McClaren's side are yet to win a game in the Premier League so far, and after six fixtures sit second from bottom in the table.
"I keep getting little tasters and obviously every time I play for Newcastle I love it, but realistically I want to start every game, just as every other player in the squad does," the Chronicle quotes Aarons as saying. "I've just got to keep working hard, keep my head down and when I get the opportunity take it."
The Magpies kicked off their Capital One Cup campaign with a 4-1 win over Northampton Town last month.
