Newcastle United forward Papiss Cisse has admitted that he has found this season "really hard" due to his lack of goalscoring form.
The 28-year-old has netted just four goals this season, but has been boosted by his late winner against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
"I feel like I need to be scoring goals," the Northern Echo quotes Cisse as saying. "This has been a really hard season because it has never happened to me before. The run of not scoring has been very difficult in my head.
"It is tough to take and you feel bad for yourself and your teammates because you wonder if you are doing enough, but I have to thank the other players and the staff, because I have always felt that they have had faith in me."
Cisse, who joined the Magpies in 2012, was linked with a move away from St James' Park in the January transfer window.
