Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse has shared his relief after scoring his first goal of the season against Manchester United on Wednesday.
The Senegalese striker came on as a substitute to net at Old Trafford, but could not stop his side losing 2-1 in the Capital One Cup.
Cisse told the club's official website that he expects to start netting regularly after finally getting off the mark in 2012-13.
When asked if he thought he could now go on a goalscoring streak, Cisse replied: "Yes, I am very happy. For me it was very good to score.
"Two would have been very good but a goal didn't happen at that time."
Cisse is aiming to open his Premier League account for the season when the Magpies travel to Reading this weekend.
