Newcastle United midfielder Jack Colback believes that Moussa Sissoko has been crucial to his side's recent resurgence in form in the Premier League.
The Magpies have won their last four games in the top flight to propel themselves into eighth place in the table, and the 25-year-old has credited the French midfielder as being the "driving force" behind Alan Pardew's side's revival.
Colback told the club's official website: "He's got great ability on the ball, great physical strength and power, and can get out of certain situations that look almost impossible.
"He is a real driving force for the team and someone who helps you get up the pitch when the game is maybe a bit scrappy.
"We've got others like that too, and a lot of pace in the side, especially on the counter-attack. We have also become really solid and that has been the foundation on our recent success."
Newcastle face Queens Park Rangers in their Premier League clash later today.
