Newcastle United's Jonas Gutierrez has revealed that he has been given the all-clear following a battle with testicular cancer.
In September, the Argentine revealed that he was battling the disease and had his left testicle removed as part of the treatment in his homeland.
However, Gutierrez has now taken to Twitter to express his gratitude for everybody who helped him in his road to recovery.
"Today I was given a medical discharge. Thank you very much to all who accompanied me at this time, especially my family, my parents, brothers, godmother and friends," he posted.
Gutierrez joined the Magpies from Mallorca in 2008 and has since clocked 177 appearances for the club.
