Newcastle United midfielder Jonjo Shelvey will not face any punishment from the Football Association for his apparent shove on West Ham United forward Enner Valencia.
Shelvey impressed on his Newcastle debut as he played a role in both goals in Saturday's 2-1 triumph over the Hammers at St James' Park.
In the 39th minute of the clash, the midfielder appeared to push Valencia in an off-the-ball incident, which was not spotted by the referee, but the governing body's independent video review panel did not deem the player deserving of punishment, according to Sky Sports News.
Shelvey joined the Magpies from Swansea City for £12m last week.
