Newcastle United have reportedly lodged a bid for Hamburg striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga.
The 23-year-old, who is a Germany Under-21 international, was linked with the Magpies earlier this summer.
The frontman penned a five-year deal with Hamburg when he signed from Bundesliga rivals Hertha Berlin last summer, but has struggled for regular first-team football since.
It is thought that Newcastle are still in the market for another striker, with Queens Park Rangers man Charlie Austin rumoured to be among their targets.
According to the Daily Mail, Lasogga is also on their radar and Newcastle have made a £7m offer for him.
Lasogga has scored five goals in 31 league games for Hamburg.
