Newcastle United winger Gabriel Obertan has said that he is hoping to unlock his full potential with the Magpies.
The Frenchman, who arrived from Manchester United in the summer, scored his first goal in English football in Newcastle's 2-0 win over Blackburn last night and admits that he is looking forward to more.
"In the last three or four games, I've not played," he told the club's official site. "I'm an offensive player so it's important to make assists or to score.
"I'm pleased for the team but personally, I've been looking for that goal for so long. Hopefully I can unlock all my potential and maybe I can score a bit more."
Obertan has made 19 appearances for Newcastle in all competitions this season.
