Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has expressed his happiness at the return of Fabricio Coloccini and Loic Remy for the visit of Aston Villa this afternoon.
The centre-back returns to boost the Magpies' defence, while Remy is back from a three-game suspension.
He told Sky Sports News: "What they'll give us is experience. When you have a setback like we have had in the last few games, they keep the group together and let them know there's still time.
"That experience will be important and we will need that to know that we attack and get people in the box, we can keep the back-door locked, and we haven't been doing that lately.
"The priority is always about the team and the players. The focus is on myself and you accept that as a manager, but you want your best players available. The most important thing is the result for our fans and our well-being."
The Magpies are currently ninth in the Premier League.
