Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has declared that Toon fans should be excited by the "mouthwatering" prospect of his squad when key players are fit and firing.
The Magpies were he busiest club in last month's transfer window, securing a string of French talents including Moussa Sissoko, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and Yoan Gouffran.
Pardrew has admitted that he cannot wait to add Hatem Ben Arfa to his mix of new signings and established star players.
He told The Mirror: "It does excite me. You'd like to think with Gouffran on one side and Ben Arfa coming back on the other side and Moussa Sissoko, blimey that's mouthwatering for us.
"Yohan Cabaye coming back has been the bigger bonus than perhaps the boys we brought in."
Despite adding to their squad Newcastle are just four points above the relegation zone and sit 16th in the Premier League table.
