Alan Pardew has admitted that he will have to change Newcastle United's style of play following the exit of Yohan Cabaye.
The Frenchman, 28, joined Paris Saint-Germain last week for a fee believed to be in the region of £20m.
With one of his key players gone, Pardew accepts that the Magpies will have to alter what they do on the pitch.
"We can't play the same way as we did with Cabaye. We're not going to be the same team we were in the first half of the season," Pardew told The Guardian.
"We're looking for something different and I have to get that into play as quickly as possible."
Newcastle play Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.
