Steven Taylor and Cheick Tiote are both doubtful for Newcastle United's match against Stoke City on Monday night.
Taylor broke his nose in last weekend's win against Wigan Athletic, while Tiote is struggling with a knee injury, according to manager Alan Pardew.
Meanwhile, striker Shola Ameobi is out of the clash at the Britannia Stadium with a hamstring injury.
"Cheik and Steven are both doubtful for this one," said Pardew. "Shola is out, which in this particular game is a blow to us because of his height and his presence. Outside of them, everybody's fine."
The Magpies, who are currently fourth in the Premier League table, go into the match unbeaten in the league this season.
