Ayoze Perez has admitted that next weekend's match against Queens Park Rangers is a "crucial game" for Newcastle United as they try to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The Magpies sit 17th in the table, just two points clear of the relegation zone, following their 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion yesterday.
The striker, who scored Newcastle's goal, told nufcTV: "It has given us a lot of confidence, but we need to focus on the next game, QPR, and just go after those three important points.
"It's a crucial game, a very important game. We need to go there and get the three points. It's very important."
QPR could already be relegated ahead of next week's match, depending on the outcome of their match against Manchester City this afternoon.
