Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has reportedly entered late negotiations with Fulham over a possible loan move.
Mitrovic had been expected to join Belgian outfit Anderlecht on deadline day, only for that deal to break down with just hours remaining until the window closes.
However, the Serbian's hopes of leaving St James' Park may have been revived by late interest from Championship side Fulham.
Sky Sports News reports that the Cottagers are lining up a loan move for the out-of-favour striker, although both clubs will need to work quickly to push the deal through before the 11pm deadline.
Mitrovic, who has made just one start and seven appearances for the Magpies so far this season, also saw a potential move to Brighton & Hove Albion break down last week.
