Newcastle United midfielder Romain Amalfitano has joined Ligue 2 side Dijon on loan.
The 24-year-old Frenchman signed for the Magpies on a free transfer from Reims last summer.
However, he last played for the first team in November during a Europa League tie against Maritimo.
Amalfitano's brother Morgan penned a season-long loan deal from Marseille to West Bromwich Albion on deadline day.
