Newcastle United midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa has admitted that he is likely to remain at the Sports Direct Arena for next season but has not ruled out a move to a "big club".
The 25-year-old has been linked with a potential move away from the North East this summer following an impressive term with the Magpies this season, which helped guide the club to fifth in the Premier League table.
"If I do not have a really, really serious proposal, I'll stay," Ben Arfa told L'Equipe. "If a big club comes, but does not propose something interesting - that is to say, the coach really wants me - I'll stay.
"If I do not feel the confidence of the [interested club's] coach 100%, I will not leave. I still have three-year contract. But I know it can go fast."
Ben Arfa's form this season earned him a spot in France's national team for the European Championships.
