Jonjo Shelvey reportedly has no plans to leave Newcastle United this summer if they get relegated from the Premier League.
The England international signed for the Magpies from Swansea City in January for a £12m fee.
Newcastle are in danger of dropping into the Championship as they are currently six points from safety with six games left to play.
According to the Daily Mail, Shelvey does not have a relegation clause in his contract, but intends to stay with the club regardless of where they play football next season.
Moussa Sissoko and Andros Townsend are also believed to be without relegation clauses in their deals at St James' Park.
