Metz forward Habibou Diallo has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Leicester City and Newcastle United.
The 24-year-old has impressed in Ligue 1 this season, contributing a total of eight goals from 12 appearances.
According to The Express, that has led to interest from Leicester and Newcastle, who each wish to strengthen their attacking options in January.
Kelechi Iheanacho is being linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium, leaving Brendan Rodgers to contemplate potential replacements for the Nigeria international.
Meanwhile, Newcastle may decide to cash in on Dwight Gayle, putting Steve Bruce in a position where he will want to bring in more competition for Joelinton and Andy Carroll.
With Diallo possessing a contract until 2022, Metz may look to keep hold of the Senegalese frontman until at least the end of the campaign.
