Newcastle United reportedly intend to move for Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara and Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo in January.
Having won just one of their 17 matches in the Premier League this season, the Magpies sit three points adrift of safety.
However, as a result of their recent takeover, manager Eddie Howe will be provided with significant funds to spend during the next transfer window.
According to The Times, Newcastle will attempt to sign long-term target Kamara, as well as Adarabioyo, over the coming weeks.
If reports are to be believed, Kamara will wait until his contract expires at the end of the season before having his pick of clubs, but the North-East outfit appear ready to persevere with their efforts to sign the Frenchman.
Adarabioyo is a key member of the Fulham squad which currently sits at the top of the Championship, and a £10m release clause which could have been met earlier this year is no longer active. body check tags ::
