Marseille have reportedly rejected a bid from Newcastle United for midfielder Florian Thauvin.
The 22-year-old has regularly been linked with a move away from the Stade Velodrome, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur said to be monitoring him.
Thauvin is a highly-rated prospect and has been capped by France at Under-21 level.
Newcastle are said to be determined to add quality to their squad and see Thauvin as a player who can provide goals for the team.
According to the Daily Mail, the Magpies have had a £10.7m bid dismissed by Marseille.
Thauvin joined Marseille from Lille in 2013.
