Newcastle United are reportedly offered the opportunity to sign Watford winger Ismaila Sarr at the end of the season.

The agent of Watford winger Ismaila Sarr has reportedly held discussions with Newcastle United regarding a potential summer transfer.

The Senegal international is nearing the end of his third campaign at Vicarage Road with 24 goals and 18 assists being recorded in 91 appearances.

However, with just over two years remaining on his contract and Watford likely to be relegated from the Premier League, all parties are expected to be open to a transfer during the summer window.

According to FootballTransfers, Newcastle have been sounded out to discover whether they would be interested in signing the 24-year-old.

The report claims that Watford are currently looking to do business for £40m, a fee which may be deemed unlikely but one which is equally justifiable with in excess of £30m being shelled out in 2019.

Sarr's representatives have reportedly held a meeting with Magpies officials and the player may come under consideration ahead of 2022-23. body check tags ::
