Newcastle United are preparing to swoop for Groningen midfielder Dusan Tadic, according to reports.
The Magpies may face stiff competition from Lazio for the Serbian international, who put in a string of impressive performances in the Eredivisie last season.
Dutch magazine Voetball understands that the 23-year-old could cost somewhere in the region of £6m.
Tadic, whose contract runs out at the end of next season, arrived at the Dutch side from Vojvodina in 2010.
