Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly both interested in signing Juventus centre-forward Gonzalo Higuain this summer.
The 32-year-old, who has scored eight times in 34 appearances for Juve this term, will see his current deal with the Old Lady expire at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
Higuain scored five times in 19 outings during a loan spell at Chelsea in the second half of the 2018-19 season, and according to The Express, Newcastle and Wolves both want to bring him back to the Premier League.
The report claims that the Magpies, who could soon become the wealthiest side in England as they are poised for a Saudi takeover, are looking for big-name signings to take them to the next level.
Higuain has allegedly been identified by Steve Bruce's side as a potential arrival, although Wolves are also believed to be weighing up a summer approach for the Argentina international.
The South American has scored five goals and registered four assists in 23 Serie A outings this term.
