Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew will reportedly sit down with full-back Danny Simpson before the end of the month to discuss his future.
Reports have suggested that the 25-year-old could be on the way out of the Sports Direct Arena, with Chelsea believed to be interested in the defender.
Pardew is thought to be eager to keep Simpson in the North East but is willing to sell if the player refuses to accept an offer that was rejected earlier this season, according to the Northern Echo.
Simpson has not featured for the Magpies after injuring his ankle during Newcastle's 2-1 win over Everton in November.
