Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger is reportedly expected to leave the Sports Direct Arena this summer for a switch to the Championship.
The 21-year-old, who has had a tumultuous time with the Magpies, is believed to be wanted by Barnsley and newly-promoted Sheffield Wednesday, according to the Daily Star.
The frontman was fined £6,000 by the Football Association in March for writing homophobic messages on Twitter and was previously arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
Ranger has been a Newcastle player since 2008.
