Andy Carroll reportedly has no intention of rejoining Newcastle United during the January transfer window.
Despite speculation that West Ham United are keen to retain the striker's services, recent rumours had suggested that the Magpies harboured an interest in re-signing him.
However, the 25-year-old has no plans to return to Tyneside and is instead eager to make an impact with West Ham, who have stood by him during his injury problems over the last two seasons, according to the Newcastle Chronicle.
A source told the publication: "Andy is really happy in London. He's settled and he just wants to get back to scoring goals for West Ham. He's working very hard on fitness and hopes to be back on the pitch soon."
Carroll is yet to feature for the Hammers this term because of an ankle complaint.
