Steven Taylor's agent Jonathan Hope has revealed that the defender has no plans to leave Newcastle United this summer.
The 28-year-old's future has been called into question after he made just 11 appearances for the Magpies last season.
Despite receiving interest from other clubs, Taylor's agent has insisted that the defender wants to earn his way back into the Newcastle team.
"I can confirm I have had talks to several clubs in regards to Taylor," The Chronicle quotes Taylor as saying.
"Yes, a lot of interest and great opportunities but I will state now Steven Taylor is going nowhere. He is contractually obliged to Newcastle United and he wants to play for the club he loves."
Taylor made his senior debut for Newcastle in 2003.
