Spanish striker Xisco will reportedly make his first appearance for Newcastle United in more than a year when the club's development squad face Aston Villa on Monday.
The 26-year-old, who joined the Magpies in 2008, has made just nine Premier League appearances for the club in an unsuccessful spell in English football.
He spent the majority of last season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna, but reported back to England at the start of pre-season training.
Xisco made 11 caps for Spain's Under-21 side.
