Terry Butcher is reportedly a candidate to become the next manager of Newport County.
The League Two outfit have been without a permanent boss since Justin Edinburgh departed for Gillingham back in February.
Jimmy Dack has been in temporary charge since then, but County are now in the process of interviewing potential permanent successors, according to BBC Sport.
The report added that former England international Butcher is on the shortlist, along with Mark Yates, Paul Cox and James Beattie.
Butcher, 56, has been out of work since the summer of 2014 when he was sacked by Hibernian.
