Lifelong Newport County fan and lottery winner Les Scadding has become chairman of the non-league club.
Scadding and his wife won a £45.5m jackpot on the EuroMillions in 2009 and has taken over from Chris Blight, who resigned in July after 10 years at the club.
A statement on County's official website read: "We are delighted to announce that Les Scadding has accepted an offer to become chairman of Newport County.
"We are sure that you will join us in wishing Les every success in his new role."
Newport are among the favourites to gain promotion from the Conference this season and have made a strong start, winning their first three matches of the season.
