Former Hereford United goalkeeper James Bittner has joined League Two newcomers Newport County on a one-month contract.
The 31-year-old will act as cover for Jamie Stephens and Lennie Pidgley, who has just returned to training.
Bittner was released by Hereford in May, having made 37 first-team appearances last season.
The experienced keeper has also represented Forest Green, Salisbury, Woking and Exeter.
