The son of Fabio Capello has claimed that the former England manager is "happy" after John Terry was cleared of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand.
Capello left his role as Three Lions coach in February when he fell out with the Football Association over their decision to strip Terry of the captain's armband before the case had been heard in court.
Pierfilippo Capello has now revealed that he and his father were pleased with the outcome of the trial on Friday.
"We have just seen the news online and we are very happy," he told The Sun.
"My personal view, as a lawyer, is that the final answer to this matter came from where it was always supposed to come."
It was reported on Friday that Capello had agreed to take over as manager of the Russian national team.
