A range of sports have been affected by the pandemic.

Sport continued to be affected by the coronavirus outbreak on Saturday with more events postponed or rearranged, and further individuals forced to self-isolate.

Here, the PA news agency takes a look at how the day unfolded.

4am – The three-match one-day international series between Australia and New Zealand was postponed following tighter travel restrictions imposed.

9.14am – The International Triathlon Union suspended all activities and races until April 30, including all competitions in the World Triathlon calendar.

10.08am – Fiorentina striker Patrick Cutrone, on loan from Wolves, and team-mate German Pezzella each tested positive for coronavirus, along with club physio Stefano Danielli.

10.11am – The Vanarama National League fixture between Yeovil and Barnet was postponed after the Bees’ entire first-team staff were put into self-isolation due to four members showing symptoms of Covid-19.

11.15am – Sunday’s Coral Challenge Cup fixture between York City Knights and Rochdale Hornets was switched to the Millennium Stadium in Featherstone after York City cancelled the availability of Bootham Crescent.

11.19am – After a Chorley player showed symptoms of Covid-19, his side’s National League game at Bromley was called off.

11.19am – The National League fixture between Woking and Dagenham & Redbridge was postponed due to concerns about coronavirus,

11.28am – The Rugby Football League announced that the draw for the sixth round of the Coral Challenge Cup, scheduled to take place on Monday, has been moved from New York to Salford.

12.11pm – The Super Rugby season has been suspended after the decision of the New Zealand government to quarantine people entering the country for 14 days.

1.16pm – The Welsh Rugby Union suspended the community game in Wales from Saturday evening until March 30 as a precautionary measure.

3.04pm – Wolves announced their decision to close Molineux until at least April 4 for the health, welfare and safety of its staff, supporters and stakeholders.

4.06pm – Rugby league activity in Wales was suspended until the end of March.

8.40pm – Derbyshire said they would be returning to the UK on Monday after cutting short their pre-season tour to Zimbabwe.

9.26pm – The Vitality Netball Superleague announced Loughborough Lightning’s home game against Saracens Mavericks on Monday would take place behind closed doors.
